Introduction
404 GAME RE:SET is a mobile game developed by SEGA along with some well known names in the industries such as:
- Yoko Taro as Creative Director (Representative work: Nier:Automata series)
- Yuugen as Character Design (Representative work: Angel Beats, Heaven Burns Red)
The main gameplay is to control Cast to dodge enemy bullets while they automatically shoot bullets to defeat enemies. The game consists of a main storyline along with various limited events that rotates from time to time.
Synopsis
In an attempt to join the world renowned game company, SEGA, the player joins a recruitment program. Upon accepting the offer from SEGA, the player makes way towards the main headquarters of SEGA. On the way, the player was met with an accident and got transported to the virtual world. Ribbon, a virtual character, contacts and inform about the truth behind the current world, which is currently under SEGA's control. With SEGA's technology, classic Arcade Games has been given personification, and are now known as Cast. Cast have the ability to change world events. In order to "fix" the world, the player, along with Ribbon and a mysterious person named X, seek out various Cast in the world. What kind of future awaits the player and Ribbon?
